About Us

The Lutheran Church was named after the Protestant church reformer Dr. Martin Luther during the Reformation of the 16th century.  The teaching of the Lutheran Church may be summarized in three short statements:

Bible    Grace  Faith

Scripture Alone                     Grace Alone                           Faith Alone

The Bible Alone is God’s inerrant and infallible Word and is authoritative for all Christian teaching, not the reasoning or traditions of men.  We are saved by God’s Grace Alone as a free gift, not by our own merit, through Faith Alone in Gods’ salvation through his Son Jesus Christ, not by our own works.

Trinity Lutheran Church in Darmstadt is a member of the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod (LCMS) with 2.5 million baptized members and 6150 congregations nations wide.
